MESSAGE FROM B.O.G. CHAIRMAN
I take this opportunity to write something about this great school on behalf of the Board of Governors (B.O.G.) of Mashuuru Secondary School and myself.
As a Board we have committed our selves to see to the development of Mashuuru secondary school in terms of physical facilities and ultimately in the academic sphere. Towards that end, we have initiated several development projects that should transform the school into a centre of excellence in the wider Kajiado area in recognition of the fact the school is the only secondary school in the division.
One of our more ambitious projects is a teacher’s housing project whose completion has been long delayed. How ever we have put in a lot of effort to see the eight housing units completed by the end of this year. This is going to help students interact more with their teachers who will no longer be out of the school compound.
The school does not have a fence around it. We have thus realized that this is not a very conducive environment for learning and this is the reason that putting up a barrier around the school is one of the priority areas for the Board.
